How to Install Your Custom Vinyl Decor
- Clean your surface before application ( if you've painted recently, please wait 3 weeks from painting to apply the vinyl )
- Practice with the sample star provided
- Have your space marked out with where you want the design. Once it is applied, it cannot be moved.
- Unroll the product out and using a credit card, rub it over the entire surface firmly. This helps ensure the vinyl design sticks to the transfer tape.
- Next flip the grid side up and remove SLOWLY. The design should stick to the transfer tape as you pull the grid backing away. To ensure you don't have tearing- Watch as you go to make sure the design is sticking, if at any time you see it staying on the grid backing. STOP. And lay the grid backing back down in that section and press firmly. Then pull the backing slowly back again, repeat until the entire design is on the transfer tape.
- Take the transfer tape and hold it up to where you have marked out the space on your surface. Once in the right position, press it down. Rub your hands and a credit card against the design to ensure proper adhesion to your surface.
- When ready, pull back the transfer tape slowly. Please watch carefully as you go. If the design is not sticking to the wall, lay it back down and press firmly again. Repeat and go slowly until the entire design is on the wall.
