Can I return or exchange my order?
We are not able to accept returns or exchanges. Our products are customized by you (names, sizes, & colors) and are custom cut after your order is placed. Our decals can last years on your walls/surfaces. However if kept in storage and not applied within a certain time frame, they become more difficult and sometimes impossible to apply. The customized feature of our products make it extremely difficult to resell and we cannot stock them indefinitely due to the 'shelf life'. Therefore we do not keep stock of cut decals.
Cancellations: If we haven't started making the item yet, we are glad to cancel/refund, should you request. We typically start production about 24 hrs after receiving your order.
What surfaces can I apply to?
Surfaces our vinyl is recommended for use:
-Smooth wood, mirrors, windows, foamboard, plexiglass, non-textured walls, most smooth surfaces
Surfaces NOT recommended for use:
-Textured fabric, canvas, textured surfaces such as (orange peel drywall, rough wood, cement, paneling, or brick).
Paints that are low VOC repel dirt, dust, & fingerprints and can also repel the adhesive used on vinyl decals. To combat this, apply stencil glue to the back of your vinyl decal. Stencil glue will give your vinyl decal enough extra stickiness and is still removable later.
We cannot guarantee vinyl will adhere to all substrates. We offer free test decals before ordering, if requested.
Can I apply vinyl after painting my surface?
Please wait 3 weeks after painting to apply vinyl. Paint over non-primed walls won't adhere to wall properly and can lead to peeling of paint after vinyl removal.
We recommend the same drying time for stained wood surfaces.
Will my vinyl work on a fabric back drop?
We have had success applying vinyl temporarily to most smooth fabric back drops. When you are applying, make sure to have a firm surface like a table or board behind it. That way you can press the decal on firmly to ensure it adheres well. If it is a stretchy fabric, apply the decal after the fabric is stretched over the frame. Otherwise it may shift the decal.
This would only work for temporary application.
Is your vinyl removable?
Yes, our semi-permanent vinyl is removable. We use the highest quality vinyl on the market, and it removes easily by simply peeling it back off very SLOWLY. The heat of a hair dryer on low just beforehand will soften the vinyl for easier removal.
Our decals adhere very well to glass/windows. Since they are non-porous, the adhesion is stronger than the typical wall application and can be more difficult to remove. Using a hair dryer on low will help with this removal as well and reduce any sticky residue left behind.
Our vinyl decals are not reusable. They cannot be reused, or moved/re-positioned. They are a one time use only.
How do I order the right size for my space?
We highly recommend measuring your intended space ( 2x) before ordering. You can do this easily with a tape measure or yardstick. The dimensions of our decals are listed in height and width. Height is calculated from top to bottom, and width from left to right. Plan on ordering a decal that is smaller in both height and width, than the surface you intend to apply it to.
We are not responsible when incorrect sizing is selected by buyer.
Do you create custom designs?
Yes, we can help create custom designs or custom text requests. You can send us an svg or jpg of the image you want. We DO NOT print designs. We cut our designs straight from the vinyl. We will do up to 3 colors that you can layer. You will be responsible for layering during your application.
